2. Navy F/A-18A Hornet
Sold for a little over $1 million, the F/A-18A Hornet was listed by Mike Landa. Although this asking price may have seemed to be steep to most buyers, a brand new F/A-18A Hornet would have an even larger price tag. This supersonic aircraft would have otherwise been purchased by the government for over $29 million if in brand new condition. Mike Landa also posted that he would provide extra components such as bomb racks for an additional 9 million dollars. In order to make shipping convenient, the aircraft was disassembled and shipped to the buyer who made the highest bid.

Everyone dreams of purchasing their own private jet and with the Gulfstream II that was posted on eBay in 2001, one lucky buyer was able to fulfill their dream. Sold for the total amount of 4.9 million dollars, the Gulfstream II was known to be the largest purchase to ever be completed on eBay at that time. Since its selling date, there have been other products that have sold for more, but the Gulfstream II made eBay selling history.
The jet itself seats 12 passengers and was purchased by a charter-flight company that is based in Africa. The buyers were more than happy to pay over 45 million dollars for the jet, but were able to grab it for an incredibly low price in comparison to their allotted budget.
4. Power Lunch with Warren Buffet
One of the most popular reasons as to why established individuals use eBay is to raise money for charity and Warren Buffet is no different. Joe Jackson used the bat for 12 years and retired it during 1920. The bat was sold for $577,610.00 and it received the title of the most expensive baseball bat to be sold in the entire world.
